He has developed and implemented AML/CFT policies for various institutions and led significant projects like the National Financial Inclusion in Somalia. Previously, he played a key role in regulatory compliance and operational risk at Bank of America. Mohamed holds an MBA in Strategic Management and is a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS), reflecting his dedication to professional excellence and continuous improvement.
Abdullahi Hassan
Water, Resilence and Environment Expert | Consultant
Abdullahi Hassan is an expert in consulting and water governance with over 12 years of experience. He advises high-level clients and major donors, including the UN and government agencies, on strategic initiatives and policy development. Abdullahi is Vice Chair of the Water Security and Safety Management Specialist Group at the International Water Association and Co-Founder of the Somali Natural Resources Research Center. He has held key roles at the Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation. Abdullahi holds two Master's degrees in Disaster Resilience Leadership and Integrated River Basin Management and is a dedicated advocate for sustainable water resource management.
